In order to start a new modern vessel project, CERES is parting ways with its versatile 14 metre catamaran CERES III
-The CERES III is a fast and powerful catamaran, combining the proven seaworthy qualities of the Southboat design with a high-end finish. The design of the vessel is based on both SB’s research into the needs of the industry and our own practical experience of working in the field and providing services to the maritime and offshore industry.
-The CERES III is committed to the highest safety standards and is fully equipped with the latest safety systems (SART, EPIRB, AIS) as well as the latest life-saving equipment. The vessel was built under the supervision of the Irish Marine Survey.
-The CERES III has been inspected for Veritas and the French authorities by a naval architect and is now almost ready to be registered under the French flag.
Versatile and robust, she is a functional workboat. Her deck features a wealth of amenities, including:
A large work area
A forward crew transfer area
An open flybridge observation post
A moonpool
A structural attachment area for a crane
A professional 1-tonne capacity winch
A 1-tonne stainless steel gantry
Professional divers will appreciate the sturdy ladder and large door at the stern.
The integrated navigation and communication system includes: GPS, open antenna radar, AIS, depth sounder, autopilot and CCTV surveillance cameras.
The passenger cabin has been designed for comfort and entertainment. It includes:
14 fully adjustable and suspended pilot seats
WiFi and hot air heating
A generator and inverter to ensure a constant power supply
The onboard sanitary facilities include a washbasin with hot and cold water. The dedicated kitchen area is equipped with a kettle, hotplates, microwave, fridge and hot and cold water.
A survey table for five surveyors, with a dedicated power supply, is ready to accommodate computers and hydrographic tools.

The CERES III is suitable for a wide range of activities including:
Support to the offshore wind industry and other offshore developments
Personnel transport (CTV)
Research and survey missions
